The sun is fading in the west
My world unravels as a test
I bear the weight of my belief
Too soon there’s nothing left but grief.
Awake my heart and try to say
Great words before you melt away
Like Dorothy ere she is caught
In winds life’s misery has brought.
Command the soul, be steady now
And to its pain refuse to bow
