Sometimes a special sound will bring to mind
Forgotten memories we’ve left behind
Or carry on the fragile scented air
Images of those times no longer there.
Reminders rising from some hidden past
Into this world unfeeling and aghast
And there without our understanding why
Refusing still to fade or say goodbye !
