Whate’er we hear or see each day,
Integrity gets in the way
Truth comes at last, who is the Beast
That rules the world and all its Least ?
We certainly are gone quite mad
In truth, most citizens are sad
Hyenas rule at every gate
The Just are cowed and much irate.
Salvation seems quite overdue
How shall we know when dreams come true
Perhaps to pray as we’ve been told
Remembering God’s promise old
Each are His children one and all
Awaiting on His final call !
So long ago and far away
A young man spent his final day
Upon a windy hill out there
He died and left us unprepared
For all the pain that was to come
With sin for all and calm for none !
Under the spell of magic breeze
His presence moved among the trees
As far off stars to earth they fell
And history that story tell.
These words we keep remembering
Can faith to all God’s children bring
And peace that will in truth display
His sacrifice on that last day !
