I wonder, God, if it’s okay

To ask You for another stay ?

I sure could use a second chance

To search around for life’s romance

I do get, oh, so tired of

A world that seems devoid of love !

I wandered in the darkness while life was passing by

In my nomad-existence I never questioned why

And as those days expired I wondered what I should do

I asked my God to help me please, try to see me through

And from that day to this I have followed in His sight

I don’t reside in darkness, my life is full of light !
