The fallacy of life may be
That we are born to live quite free
Of course this does not make much sense
No freedom thrives without defense !
The fallacy of life may be
That we are born to live quite free
Of course this does not make much sense
No freedom thrives without defense !
It seems that life is, with all its features
God’s perfect world of imperfect creatures,
How shall we learn what perfection can be
Until we share in His eternity ?
This struggle’s old, six thousand years about
You’d have thought by now we’d have worked it out !
I have traveled so far along lifes thorny way
Searching for peace to follow the end of each day
As these days quickly fly like the turn of a page
We need courage and wisdom both cautious and sage.
